This is the highest point in mahabaleshwar situated near the market. It's height is about 1435 meters. There are three viewing balconies situated to 3 different directions. The sunrise is very enchanting and memorable from here. You may come here walking or can book ponies, taxis or tourist car's just one day before.
Baghdad Point : A very beautiful point situated 8 Kms. from the Wilson Point to Satara Road. You will find an asphalted road leading to this point. You see a superb scenic view of back water of Koyana Dam, on your left river Solshi in front of you and green slopes of Mahabaleshwar on your right. This was calls Bogoda Point by the laborers which subsequent became Bogoda Point.
Tapola: Mini Kashmir
apola famously called the mini Kashmir of the west is a rustic hamlet with a magnificent lake • Shivsagar. Tapola is at the end of the road and practically a dead end, From Mahabaleshwar Tapola is 25 kilometers away and the drive to Tapola is a picturesque one with vistas galore on either side of the road. Tapola is also the base village to the Vasota fort famous for the ardous jungle trek.
Pratapgad literally 'Valour Fort' is a large fort located in Satara district, in the Western Indian state of Maharashtra. Significant as the site of the Battle of Pratapgad, the fort is now a popular tourist destination. Pratapgad fort is located 15 kilometres from Poladpur and 23 kilometres west of Mahabaleshwar, a popular hill station in the area. The fort stands 1,080 metres (3,540 ft) above sea level and is built on a spur which overlooks the road between the villages of Par and Kinesvar.
Venna Lake is Situated 2 Kms. from the S.T. Stand you may watch the lake while coming from Panchgani. This is attractive point for tourists. Here you can have the pleasure of boating in reasonable rates. There are many entertaining items and also many Fast Food & Juice bars. You can enjoy pony rides and relax & Have picnic in a park & gardens.
Connaught Peak is the second highest point in Mahabaleshwar. It was formerly known as Mount Olympia. The point is at the height of 1400 rntrs. It is 7 kms. frorn Mahabaleshwar market. You can see the sunset point here, you can see the beautiful view of the forest like a Green Shawl which is spread below kamaIghad, Rajgadh and Torana at north, Panchgani, Pasarani Ghat at east , Pratapgadh at West and Elphinston Point and Kshetra Mahabaleshwar at north-west can be seen.
